Search is interesting again! I’m excited for everything that Microsoft is planning with bing even if right now it’s clearly just two different products squished together. Somehow that’s still more interesting and innovative than google with its billions has been in years.
Google search, especially on mobile, has actually gotten worse recently with more and more ads filling up the results. Even the natural results don’t feel as magic as they used to. Maybe that’s just me expecting more than is possible but I can remember more than a few times that I just couldn’t find what I was looking for on google.
Don’t get me wrong, overall I’m still more of a google fan than a Microsoft one but it’s clear that google needed a kick in the butt here and hopefully they can answer because that’s the only way we all win.
